The main convictions of our faith can be summarized in five phrases:
- By grace alone. We believe that our salvation is a free gift from God, given to believers through Christ’s death on the cross. 2 Timothy 1:9
- By faith alone. We believe that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9
- In Christ alone. We believe that our salvation is entirely dependent on Christ’s death and resurrection. In him do believers have forgiveness of our sins. Titus 3:5-7
- By Scripture alone. We believe that the Bible is the only authority for what we believe and for how we should live. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- To God alone be the glory. We believe that our salvation is the work of God alone; therefore, human beings should live for God and not for themselves. Romans 11:36
