All the men of our congregation (visistors as well) are invited to a delightful social gathering hosted by the Men's Bible Study on Thursday, September 14th, starting at 7 p.m. in the Church Building.
Brothers, get ready for an evening of fellowhship and spiritual growth! We'll enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage, cheese & salty snacks, mouthwatering appetizers, and a steaming cup of tea or coffee to warm your soul. It's a potluck-style gathering, so please bring along your favorite appetizer, baked treat, snack , or a favourite bottle of wineto share with your fellow brethren.
As the evening unfolds, we'll dive into the introduction video for our upcoming Men's Bible Study on the Book of James. And guess what? You're more than welcome to stick around and watch it with us, but there is no obligation to do so.
Our Men's Bible Study sessions will continue every second Thursday, alternating with the women's group. We'll kick things off with the introductory video on September 14th. For this enriching journey, we'll be using the study book by Matt Chandler, "James," along with the video lessons, which will be shown during our meetings. You can also access these video lessons at home (with the pruchase of a book) if you can't make it to the meeting.
This is an open invitation! All men, young and old, member or visitor are encouraged to join us on this spiritual expedition. If you need the workbook, Ryan has a stash of 12 of them (ordered by mistake, oops!)—just let me know that you need one and I'll get it to you. Or if you prefer, you can find them on Amazon.. The video access is included when you purchase the workbook.
A quick tip: Avoid ordering through Lifeway due to pesky shipping charges, and steer clear of the e-book option—it's a bit tricky to navigate, and you won't be able to jot down those insightful notes or print it.
