Church Musicians Summer Institute 2017.
August 14, 9 a.m. to noon - pipe organ **field trip** on location at Maranatha church.
Complete dates for Institute classes are Aug 14 - 17, and are located at Carillon Music Education facilities at 7050 King George Blvd., Surrey.
Cost for the complete 4 day institute: $300.00. A $300 Scholarship is available for piano students between the ages of 10 - 12 years with registrations that are received by June 30.
This is CMSI's 30th year to provide this learning opportunity through Carillon Music and the Vancouver Center of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO). Its purpose is to introduce the organ to piano students, and help equip pianists who presently play the organ with little or no organ training.
